My Neighbors AC Was All Torn Apart

With the economy in such a mess these days, thieves are coming out of the wood works. On the news the other day I heard some creeps in our town are now punching holes in the bottom of gas tanks on vehicles and draining the gas into a container so they can pour it into their vehicle.

My neighbor asked me if I had seen someone suspicious in the neighborhood lately and after telling him I did not he told me that someone ripped his air conditioner apart. That had me thinking kids right away, but when I saw the mess I realized whoever did it actually used tools and the most important part of the ac was missing. The copper had been cut out. It was the only part with a clean cut. Looks like snips where used to cut both ends in order for the copper to be taken out.

I didn’t realize that copper was selling for so much that thieves would consider steeling it to cash it in for a few bucks. Turns out about 10 of the neighbors on the street fell victim to whoever stole the copper from my neighbor, it was pure lottery that mine did not get touched. Fearing the copper thieves would return I quickly did a search on line for some kind of protection and found a website that had exactly what I needed.

I let my dog konan, a 125 lb rottweiler, stay out side for about a week while I waited for an air conditioner cage to be shipped.
